Key Duties & Responsibilities
Receives, stores, and issues tools, fixtures, and measuring devices. Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database. Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment; disposes of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedure. Ensures that measuring devices are aligned with calibration schedule. Routinely conducts audits of tool control in accordance with documented procedures. Produces and controls documentation for manufacturing tool control program. Create and work in a team environment while implementing continuous process improvement. Follow strict safety protocols required to work on and around explosive devices. Perform routine area cleaning, general organization of tool crib, and any other collateral activity required as determined by management. Take work direction from production leadership team.
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years of experience with tool control in a manufacturing or maintenance environment
- Familiarity with standard tools used in a manufactoring environment
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to navigate basic computer based functions
- Ability to work well in a team environment and problem solve using multiple resources
- Ability to work onsite in Courtland, Alabama
- Must be able to obtain a United States DOW Secret clearance
Desired Skills
- Experience with auditing systems
- Expereince with tool maintenance and inspection
- Knowledge in Excel
- Experience with tool lifecycles
- Detail oriented; Organized
- Ability to properly identify, store, track, maintain, and issue tools
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $50300.00 - $93300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
