THE WORK
- As part of the RMS Quality Strategy & Supplier Quality Excellence (SQEx) team, this role will support RMS-level supplier quality data reporting, new SQE employee startup and support, and continuous learning initiatives.
- Duties include improvement of current measures within SQEx & across RMS, data trending & analysis to drive improved supplier performance, creation & maintenance of SQA support materials such has training documentation, guidance and other resources.
- Our team supports the streamlined and consistent execution of supplier quality tasks across RMS lines of business, and participates in corporate level initiatives, engaging with representatives from all business areas.
- Coordinates with Sourcing, Operations, Design Engineering, the Supply Base and Industry experts to facilitate the design, production, test and qualification of aerospace and defense products.
- Analyzes technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and parts/equipment availability.
- Investigates and recommends potential suppliers based on assessments of response to specifications, costs, inspection of facilities, and historical performance.
- Facilitate technical trade-offs and standardization that may lead to more economical procurement.
- Recommends design changes to mitigate production issues.
- Leads teams of Supplier and internal staff in collaboratively solving problems in Producibility, Quality, Inspection, Cost, Mistake-Proofing, Test, Reliability and Affordability.
- Ability to travel up to 10%

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience
- Quality or Operations experience required
- Demonstrated project management ability
- Understanding of procurement, and production operations

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $94400.00 - $175200.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
