Responsible for candidate sourcing and recruiting activities. Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings. Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. Works with all levels of management to understand job and needs requirements. Surfaces candidates and develops networks to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using agencies, recruiting contractors, web-based tools, and other resources. Prepares ratings on applicants, provides applicants with information on the company, arranges transportation of selected applicants, extends formal job offers, and works with management and HR to negotiate with candidates to successfully complete the hiring and on boarding process.
<p>You will be a Senior Recruiter, responsible for leading the full lifecycle recruiting process for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. This position offers a unique opportunity to support both Engineering & Technology (E&T) and Operations portfolios, with a strong possibility of flexing between the two as business needs evolve. <p><b>What You Will Be Doing</b></p>
<p>As a Senior Recruiter, you will manage the full-cycle recruiting process, develop and implement hiring strategies, and build strong relationships with clients and candidates. You’ll leverage best-in-class tools and technology to source and recruit top-tier talent, while partnering closely with HR teammates to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Managing full-cycle recruiting for both technical (E&T) and non-technical (Operations) roles across MFC, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.</li>
<li>Developing and executing hiring strategies across multiple client groups as priorities shift.</li>
<li>Partnering with TA Managers, HR Business Partners, and other Recruiters as a trusted Talent Advisor to provide insights on talent needs and workforce planning.</li>
<li>Collaborating with leadership to understand position requirements and organizational goals across functional areas.</li>
<li>Building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and creative recruiting methods.</li>
<li>Conducting prescreens, ensuring compliance adherence, and delivering a high-quality candidate experience.</li>
<li>Partnering effectively with HR teammates on compensation, compliance, onboarding, and process improvements.</li>
<li>Leveraging data to drive recruiting decisions and participating in Agile recruiting initiatives.</li>
<li>Supporting or leading special projects such as training, process enhancements, and presentations to business leaders.</li>
<li>Occasional local and domestic travel to attend job fairs and events.</li>
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of corporate or agency full-cycle recruiting experience using CRM and ATS systems (e.g., Avature, iCIMS, Taleo), serving as a Talent Advisor.
• Experience leading training or process improvement initiatives.
• Proven success in high-volume recruiting with strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to provide data-driven insights.
• Knowledge of OFCCP compliance.
Desired Skills
• Experience recruiting for both technical (engineering, systems, software) and non-technical (operations, production, supply chain) roles.
• Experience sourcing candidates for positions requiring security clearances.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across portfolios.
• Prior experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• AIRS or HCI certifications.
Pay Information
GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $90600.00 - $168200.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $81500.00 - $151300.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $72500.00 - $134600.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $65200.00 - $121200.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
