Define how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data in some way.Design and implement data solutions by defining database physical and virtual structures and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications; Perform data modeling, data architecture map, data governance for data at rest; Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics; Ensures that an organization follows a formal data standard and that its data assets are in line with the defined data architecture and/or with the goals of the business; Maintains metadata registry, oversees data management, optimizes databases and/or all data sources; Forward looking to future data management techniques and processes

The core responsibilities for this role are based on a broad knowledge of IT and include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Own what and how data is transformed, transmitted, modeled, categorized, and mastered for Plant to Stock’s systems
  • Overall data design authority for the 1LMX ERP PTS systems
  • Act as an approver on functional and technical specifications to support the function for models/reports, with tangible knowledge on what SAP ERP has out of the box vs. performing customizations in S/4
  • Enforce data integration best practices (ETL/replication vs. virtualization etc.) across systems to support models when new multi-system complex report based functional specifications are in play
  • Work closely with both functional and technical leads to ensure that analytics requirements are well understood, organized, and documented
  • Document analytics architectures, strategies and metrics for a variety of audiences, including the executive level

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working within production, distribution or delivery related scenarios
  • Solid multi-year experience in complex analytics solutions, from hands-on development to analytics design to strategy creation
    • Experience with multiple data sources and reporting
  •  Solid domain experience in key SAP analytics technologies
  • Ability to abstract, summarize and explain data and analytics concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role. 

  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $150800.00 - $280000.00 
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $135700.00 - $251900.00 
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $120600.00 - $224000.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $108600.00 - $201600.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Ocala, FL; Lufkin, TX; etc.
