You’ll play a pivotal role in integrating, administering and securing a range of systems and applications, with a strong focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Engineer within our DevSecOps team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving innovation and safeguarding digital infrastructures by ensuring robust, high-performance systems that support our mission-critical solutions.

 

You’ll need to have an understanding Linux systems and DevSecOps principles and experience of working within a multi-disciplined team. Knowledge and understanding of core software tools, methods, and frameworks to reliably integrate and deploy, integrate, and test features into environments to ensure optimum outcomes for our customers. Additionally, we’re looking for candidates with hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, including expertise in areas such as cloud architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and system performance optimization to support seamless integration and testing processes.

Basic Qualifications

As a Dev Sec Engineer in Infrastructure team you will: 

• Collaborate with Infrastructure Team Leadership to design and construct the Integrated Development Environments required to support software development, testing, and deployment. 

• Automate deployment of workspaces and services using tools like Ansible, Terraform

• Manage security information and event management monitoring and logging tools to ensure system performance and security.  

• Remediate vulnerabilities within the information systems and maintain security compliance.  

• Provide on-site and remote support to analyze and resolve technical issues for development and test teams working within the Integrated Development Environments.  

 

As part of an Agile Development Team, you will actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality solutions. Your contributions will help maintain the secure and uninterrupted communication capabilities of critical military systems.

Desired Skills

  • Proficient in the field of DevSecOps. The ability to work within an agile environment and delivering using Scrum and Sprints utilising tools such as Jira and Confluence to help planning and collaboration.
  • Experience of Linux RHEL base systems 
  • Understanding of Automation technologies Terraform and Ansible for complex builds.
  • Experience of Gitlab CI/CD pipeline builds, CI components, modules.
  • Understanding of Git/Bitbucket/GitLab integration, coding and branching strategies
  • Experience of Python, Bash scripting
  • Knowledge of Cloud and AWS concepts and technologies
  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship, the candidate require the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
