Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will be the Program Manager Staff for F-35 Engineering Change Proposal Integration (EPIC) Portfolio for the Production Program Management Office (PMO) which is responsible for delivering integrated engineering change proposals and ensuring configuration readiness.   As the Program Manager Staff for F-35 Engineering Change Proposal Integration (EPIC) Portfolio you will be responsible for coordinating with the Program Team, Control Account Managers, finance counterparts, subcontractors, suppliers and customers to ensure program requirements and deliverables are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage cost and schedule aspects of the EPIC portfolio projects.
  • Lead capture of new EPIC scope thru requirements definition, proposal development, negotiations and contract award.
  • Coordinate with Program, Engineering, and Control Account Managers to align technical scope and contract commitments.
  • Ensure on‑time delivery of technical requirements across subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Perform risk management by identifying, documenting, and mitigating contract risks.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Project Management experience

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a collaborative working environment across business units and with external customers/counterparts
  • Experience with Supplier Management and Coordination
  • Experience with F-35 Configuration Management & Life Cycle Process Management
  • Technical Road mapping experience
  • Proposal Development experience
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) & Tool Management experience
  • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and baseline management experience

Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00
