As a System Engineer‑IT on the C2 Ground program, you’ll be at the heart of a mission that blends visionary design with hands‑on execution, turning complex technical problems into reliable, secure solutions that keep critical operations running smoothly.

 

In this position you will maintain end‑to‑end system architectures that span servers, virtualized environments and storage arrays. Your eye for security will drive rigorous vulnerability remediation, compliance testing, and continuous hardening to meet the highest information‑assurance standards. You will be responsible for supporting the overall day-to-day operations of the MS Windows and Red Hat Linux based enterprise environments which includes:

• Active directory

• Database servers

• Application servers

• DHCP and DNS

• Certificate Authorities

• Creating, managing, maintaining and deleting group policies

• Adding, maintaining and deleting user accounts

• Creating, maintaining and deleting security groups

• Configuring desktops, virtual machines and servers to meet security requirements

• Creating and maintaining Windows Sys Admin processes and procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance

• Knowledge of IT Systems Engineering principles and best practices
• Basic knowledge of virtualized environments
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems

• Knowledge of server, database, storage, network, and security concepts

Desired Skills

Security+ certification

Experience with IT automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash)

• Exposure to DevSecOps practices
• Experience supporting classified IT environments

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
