Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced systems engineering leader to manage a team a multi-segment program.
- Manage the systems engineering team for this program
- Provide leadership on implementation of the Systems Engineering lifecycle processes and reviews, from completion of development through final system integration, system transition, and operations and sustainment
- Team with the portfolio Chief Systems Engineer(CSE) , program Chief Engineer(CE), program space and ground segment leads to manage program priorities and tasking
- Be the program delegate CSE and lead the working groups/technical forums with the customers
- Provide oversight and support to critical program engineering skill development
- Perform staffing and performance responsibilities; in coordination with HR and established processe•
- Establish, manage, and communicate team expectations, goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives
- Support technical planning, system integration, validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering or closely related field
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of standard systems engineering processes and lifecycle milestone reviews
- Experience in Spacecraft design or operations
Desired Skills
- Experience in operations and sustainment of spacecraft system
- Experience with Ground Command and Control(C2) systems for spacecraft or ground based mission Planning systems for spacecraft
- Familiarity with Spacecraft Mission Engineering /Mission Analysis
- Customer interaction and familiarity with government program execution
- Familiarity with space based guidance navigation and Control principles and analysis
- Demonstrated Program/Project Management and leadership skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
