What We’re Doing

The Global Sustainment Information Systems and Innovation organization is developing innovative software solutions that support Lockheed Martin’s internal organizations, business areas, and customers. We work in agile teams to rapidly move ideas from research and proof-of-concept through prototypes, demonstrations, integration, and ultimately production deployment.

This role will focus on developing technologies and products that leverage software engineering and product knowledge to deliver differentiated capabilities across the enterprise and in the field.

The Work
Lead software development efforts across the full system development lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, integration, testing, and deployment.
Develop and integrate software solutions, APIs, and enterprise applications that address complex business and mission-critical problems.
Plan, coordinate, and execute software projects from initial design through testing, debugging, and production.
Translate user requirements into robust, scalable applications and develop logical and mathematical solutions through code.
Research emerging technologies, develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes, build demonstrators, and transition successful solutions into production.
Analyze system capabilities and requirements to resolve questions involving program intent, data acquisition, outputs, programming techniques, and system controls.
Provide technical leadership and take ownership of key development efforts, helping guide major projects to successful completion.
Apply established software engineering standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle.
Develop operating instructions and comprehensive technical documentation while ensuring solutions meet rigorous quality standards.
Collaborate effectively with team members and selected external contacts to support organizational projects and goals.

Who We Are
